Graduation night should be full of fun yet completely safe for all of our high school seniors. Each year Pleasant Valley High School parents host a safe and sober all-night Grad Night Celebration. Historically this special event is attended by more than 85% of our graduates and keeps them safe for the entire night. To keep over 425 teenagers entertained, fed and most of all safe takes nearly a year of planning and preparation. It also requires a large financial investment, with an average cost of over $85 per graduate. The goal of the 2008 Grad Night committee is to have all of our seniors attend this event on June 5 and fund it through ticket sales, parent donations and community support. With Chico's unique community spirit, area businesses, organizations and individuals have always generously contributed to this essential Chico tradition. As in past years, your financial and/or material support is crucial to its success and we are confident with your help we will make this year's party a wonderful, safe evening for every graduate. The 2008 Committee looks forward to hearing from you and will proudly acknowledge your support on our website (pvgradnight.org) and in a thank you published in the Chico Enterprise-Record. Sincerely,
